Tram Chim Seafood: Indulge in Authentic Vietnamese Seafood Delights

Tram Chim restaurant in the central area near Bolsa street, Orange County, California is suitable for family and friends dinner. With fresh seafood, diverse dishes, pure Vietnamese. Or the combo dishes chosen by the chef are the highlights here. Draft beer is very suitable for confiding and eliminating stress after working days.

A friend that lives in Garden Grove shared us this Seafood restaurant, the food were great, service was really fast. As soon as we finished ordering, our plates start flooding out within next 5 minutes. Cons: they only serve bottles of water, only hot water is free. Hahahaha..

Went here instead of Oc & Lau because the wait time was too long. Arrived and had a table ready to go Food was enjoyable. It tasted nice and light, not overly salty and fresh. They give a nice to go box of fresh fruits at the end of the meal. Each dish seemed fair and well portioned to price Ambiance is much quieter then Oc & Lau if that is important to you. The other restaurant constantly has someone yelling names indoor and is overall very loud

This place is cash only. Expect to spend at least a couple hundred + when dining in. Recommend getting one of their dinner specials. Only downside was the crab and lobster barely had any meat. Besides that, everything was good.

Cash only. Pretty convenient for handicap ppl. Food came out decently fast and well made. I would've liked to see spicy markers next to the menu items since my father does not do spice at all. The items we ordered all had some kind of spice on it but prolly should have let them know before hand. Decent price on everything as well. Tasty food and drink and great service too. Escargot with garlic and butter was my favorite. Also got a free service of fruit after paying too. Don't know if there was a minimum to get it though.

Took hubby here for the first time when we visited Cali last month. Growing up in Cali I always loved this place. It doesn’t changed much especially the food. I took off one star bc of our server. She was clearly new and was lacking the knowledge. She brought out 2 dishes that we didn’t order and insisted that I ordered it. The food was good and the other servers jumped in to help bc she was panicking bc I do sound rough when I speak Vietnamese; I didn’t mean any harm but she was kinda scared. Overall, I will be back again next week when I’m back visiting Cali again. Until next time!!! Peace

Thank you both Henry and Anh for great advice and service. Trám Chim Fresh Seafood is the best oriental seafood restaurant I can think of. Prices are good, taste is so very delicious, and service is totally great. The place have no fishy odor. I highly recommend it for those craving for seafood.

We got the Dungeness crab fried with salt and it was so good. Their scallops on a half shell were good too. They also give you a fruit plate at the end.
